Ranking fifth on the Solar Challenge on the Sun Trip 2013 between France and Kazakhstan, participant on the Sun Trip Tour 2017, Stéphane is a key figure for the event. Man of a few words, he prefers to focus on his target. In 2018, he comes back from Southern France on to the Sun Trip roads aiming to step on the podium in Guangzhou.

He can again count on his loyal technical partner, Declic-éco. Also located in Souther France, this e-bike specialist already designed his first machine in 2013.

He's an adventurer to follow closely.

Herman is an experiences traveler who already walked thousands of kilometers : the Pacific Crest Trail (USA, 4250 km), the Via Alpina (Alps, 2000 km), the Te Araroa trail (New Zealand, 2400 km), etc.

He also reached the North Cape by bicycle and was aiming for the Cape of Good Hope in South Africa with his new recumbent bike.

But that was before meeting Raf Van Hulle... Then without hesitation, he decided change his course and head East, joining the pack of the Lyon-Guangzhou Sun Trip!

Two brothers - one an industrial engineer and one a theoretical physicist - sharing a passion for cycling and eating ice cream. They ride under the banner of KU Leuven where Auguste is employed. The KU Leuven Took part in the Sun Trip Tour 2017. Camille cycled 3 months through the USA in the Summer 2017 and discovered a passion for long distance touring. Auguste is equipping a tandem-trike with a solar roof to ride electrically.

Two brothers on the adventure
Jean-Claude is a technology teacher with a passion for cycling and running. Since 2015, he has been contemplating taking part in the Sun Trip and even prepared a pedagogical project with his students so that they design... a solar bike. 250 High School students worked for the last two years on this project!
As for Alain, he is a craftsman on eco-housing and travels by bicycle for many years already. An avid amateur photographer, he already set his wheels in motion in Norway, Denmark, the Netherlands, Belgium & Ireland, and also went around France.
The two middle-aged men are now ready to write a new page of their brotherhood history, a 12.000 km-long one!

Suffering from a rare type of neuromyopathy, she will break beyond herself and carry on to the road the the Sun Trip values!

She discovered  solar bikes thanks to the Sun Trip Tour 2017 and means of transportation became for her a synonym of cycling freedom. As she trains in the mountain passes of Diois (Drôme), she get every day more familiar with her beautiful machine. Loving challenges, she could not resist trying out for this great adventure.
