2026 will be a year with three regional projects: in Morocco, in France (Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes), and in China (around Guangzhou). These will be 15-day adventures for the first two and a one-week experience in China. Perfect opportunities to take your first step into the history of the Sun Trip!
Sun Trip Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes 2026
This project is both a continuation of the 2025 French regional project and a return to the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes format seen in 2017 and 2019!
Dates: from June 22 to July 4, 2026.
A mountainous yet accessible route!
This is the hallmark of the Sun Trip in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region: there will be climbing—on gentle slopes and all the way up to the highest Alpine peaks! Here is an elevation preview of what the most direct route could look like, noting that the route between stages is flexible, and that a points-based competition will be set up to reward the top performers.
