On Monday May 12, day 14 of the adventure, 9 participants finally reached the finish line in Laâyoune, the main town in the Moroccan Sahara, after almost 2000 km from Tangier!
At the end of the day, a welcoming ceremony was organized in the presence of Walid and the President of the Laayoune Region. A great honor to express the support of the Moroccan authorities in the southern provinces. On this occasion, the idea of a 2026 edition linking Laayoune to Marrakech was raised! More information in the coming weeks and months.
The 9 finishers, not forgetting those who had to give up or were unable to start : Daniel Gygi, Sebastian Depke, Bernard Cauquil, François Medalle, Shawn Ryan, Jean-Pierre Roche.
