It will be the longest prologue ever organised on a Sun Trip, with a course of more than 1000 km, planned over 12 days between Lyon, Wallonia and Brussels.

This prologue, organize by the Sun Trip association members, will be an event within the event, open both to the participants of the Sun Trip Europe but also to all those who wish to come and taste (or re-taste) the pleasure of a trip on a solar bike. The prologue is carried by the Sun Trip association and its active members.

The start of the prologue will be organised on Tuesday 1 June (no public, due to Covid situation).

On June 11 we will hold a press point in Seraing with our partner John Cockerill, gathering all the Walloon partners.

On the 12th of June we will have a public meeting in Namur (Place d’Armes) from 10:30 to 11:30, then the group will go to the base camp of the Sun Trip Europe (not open to the public).

On 13 June, the group will pass by the Grand Place in Brussels at 12 noon to take a photo at the end of the prologue, then the participants will go to the Place du Luxembourg in Ixelles (2pm-3.30pm).

The official start of the Sun Trip Europe will take place on 16 June at midday, with a meeting open to the public at 1pm on Place Fernand Cocq in Ixelles.

The routes

The route of the prologue proposes stages of about 100km, with a welcome every evening and the monitoring of a small technical team.

Mutual help and conviviality will be the key words of the prologue.
