On the way to Ouarzazate, the group begins to turn its back on the mountains, even if the altitudes remain high and a few climbs are still on the agenda. But for the last 1,000 kilometers, the adventure takes on a whole new dimension. The first images here, including Raf Van Hulle, who’s always one step ahead.
On the 9th day of the adventure, the heat rises and the wind becomes an obstacle on the high plateaus. For the moment, this is the most difficult part of the project.
The participants almost all rode 200km on this stage. Peter and Willem made a mistake on their route. Peter tries to catch up by bike. Willem, who has fallen ill, joins the group by bus.
For his part, Raf Van Hulle is already on the Atlantic coast, waiting for the right day to attempt to cover 500 km in one day, which would be a record!
